Reports directly to General Manager, the Lab Manager will be responsible for overseeing the night operations and administration of several departments for a 9000 accessions/night laboratory.
Specifically this individual will: ensure testing completion times are met on a daily basis, while maintaining quality.
This involves managing, specifically, the chemistry and hematology departments. Assist departmental supervisors in solving operational issues (i.e. instrument down time, computer down time, etc.).
Responsible for monitoring and controlling departmental overtime. Act as a liaison between night lab operations and day lab operations.

License/Certification/
Education:
- Requires a B.S./B.A. in a life science degree
- 3-5 year’s experience
- 3+ years management experience.
- ASCP certification required.
- 5S/LEAN process knowledge preferred, not required.
- Strong verbal and communications skills.
- Effective time management skills and ability to multitask.
- Must have chemistry and hematology experience in their background.
