While the primary focus is on optimizing our Accounts Receivable and collections cycle, you will also play a key role in supporting and cross-training within the Accounts Payable (AP) function to ensure departmental excellence.

** Key Responsibilities
** In this role, you will partner closely with the Accounting Manager to maintain a healthy aging report and modernize our collection workflows.
** Collections & AR Management:
*** Monitor aging reports and lead collection efforts for past-due accounts.
* Monitor compliance of contract terms for deferred settlement agreements.
* Calculate and bill late fees accurately on a monthly basis.
* Generate and distribute customer statements while resolving billing inquiries
* and account discrepancies.
** Process Improvement & Automation:
*** Collaborate with leadership to design and implement automation for tracking,
* billing, and collecting late fees.
* Recommend and execute process improvements to strengthen internal controls
* and workflow efficiency.
** Cross-Functional Support:
*** Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) transactions and vendor payment issue
* resolution.
* Cross-train in AP functions to provide team redundancy and support during high

** Reporting & Compliance:
*** Maintain precise records of financial transactions, payment plans, and customer
* correspondence.
* Support month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and financial
* reporting.## Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

* Experience:

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in AR/AP, with a strong emphasis on
* collections.

Skills:

* Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and
* reconciliations).
* Experience with Net Suite or similar ERP/accounting software is preferred.
