ResponsibilitiesAs a Commercial & Specialty Banking Specialist II, you will manage daily, weekly, and monthly trend compliance reports, financial, pipeline, and portfolio management reports. You will accurately input, monitor, and process loan data in Capital Stream and assist Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, and Credit Analysts in monitoring maturing loans, past‑due items, and covenant reports. You will assist in processing and booking loans, reviewing loan documents for accuracy, and partnering with accounting, risk management, and marketing to manage controls and regulatory inquiries for Commercial Bank/Specialty Banking/Capital Finance.
Additionally, you will manage changes and updates to risk reports, client deposit operations, treasury management implementation, and prepare weekly portfolio management meetings, including agendas and minutes. You will handle administrative details, develop relationships with key internal and external clients, and treat others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.
All associates are expected to maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies related to the position, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements.
Minimum Requirements- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- 5+ years of experience providing commercial banking loan and deposit support.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7+ years of experience in commercial banking loan and deposit operations support.
- Prior work experience in the asset‑based or banking industry.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate issues, carry out instructions, and generate reports.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while performing duties.
- Effective organizational and time‑management skills.
- Absolute discretion when dealing with confidential matters.
- Self‑directed and motivated to accomplish tasks, meet objectives, and commit to timelines.
- Strong client service skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external clients.
- Responsive and flexible; ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and modify approaches or methods to best fit situations.
- Proficient in and MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
