Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced RF Engineer to lead Payload Analysis
, execute Payload Initialization Test Cases
, and support mission-critical payload development activities. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering leaders, SMEs, and customers to ensure the performance, reliability, and successful delivery of advanced RF payloads.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in RF systems engineering, digital payload architectures, MATLAB/Python programming, and a proven ability to participate in end-to-end payload performance verification.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Payload Analysis and execute Payload Initialization Test Cases for assigned payload systems.
• Develop, analyze, and validate technical requirements; allocate functional requirements to subsystems/components.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and customer counterparts to manage risks, opportunities, and design trades.
• Support major program milestones (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.).
• Define end-to-end performance, functionality, and external interfaces of RF payloads, antennas, RF components, receivers, transmitters, and digital processors.
• Contribute to specification development and interface definitions for digitally processed RF payloads.
• Perform AI/ML-based data analysis as required.
• Support payload certification, verification, and sell-off activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Experience with MATLAB
  , Python, or similar programming languages.
• Ability to interpret and allocate technical requirements to satellite subsystems/components.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading cross-functional engineering efforts and presenting to leadership.
• Experience defining performance of RF payloads consistent with mission needs and CONOPS.
• Strong understanding of RF subsystems, antennas, passive/active components, digital processors.
• Prior experience certifying/selling-off RF payloads or subsystems.
• Proven success driving major design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR).
• AI/ML data analysis experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
