• Engineering project management, supplier management, annual budget proposals, and technical evaluations.
• Experience developing cost/schedule proposals, mechanical design, and phases of the project lifecycle (SRR, PDR, CDR).
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management, metrics, and process management.
• Project or financial management experience, or as a Control Account Manager.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.

The Mechanical Controls group of Fleet Ballistic Missiles (FBM) seeks a dependable engineer for an execution lead and Cost Account Manager (CAM) in the Post Boost Control System (PBCS) hardware IPT.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead the team to meet cost and schedule baselines, provide earned value performance, and EAC assessments.
• Identify risks, issues, and opportunities, and implement approved risk‑handling plans.
• Develop technical requirements and contribute to new business trade studies.
• Enhance cross‑discipline product development and mentor junior engineers.
• Serve as the technical interface to FBM management, systems engineering, quality, and Navy counterparts.

• Missile and/or aerospace education or experience.
• FBM processes, aerospace manufacturing, and propulsion hardware development expertise.
• Refractory metals experience and resource estimation & management skills.
• Integrated Master Schedule drafting, Earned Value Management, and continuous improvement understanding.
• Proposal development (BOE, ROM, SOW) experience and gas/fluid dynamics knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, demonstrated leadership, and initiative.
