Description
- This position will offer you the opportunity to work in a project team environment with other engineers and designers involved in the design, modification, and analysis of new and existing oil and gas facility electrical systems. - You will work on challenging assignments that include investigating, troubleshooting, and solving a wide variety of electrical engineering issues.
- Assist project lead in efforts to ensure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget.
- Support the project lead in coordinating systems design activities to ensure installation and operations will comply with specifications, codes, and client requirements.
- Prepare and review detailed calculations, including three‑phase power transient studies, voltage drop, and protective relay settings.

- Interface with vendors to prepare materials and equipment purchase specifications for client recommendations.
- Prepare reports and studies that present technical information in a clear and concise manner and meet client requirements and S&L formats.
- Perform independent reviews of work performed by others including calculations and drawing preparation.
This position is based on a hybrid work schedule and will require in‑office work 3 days per week.

Essential skills and experience:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET‑accredited engineering program.
- Two or more years of experience in electrical engineering or design.
- Experience in the selection of equipment, materials, control philosophy, and the preparation and assembling of calculations and specifications.
- Experience with electrical system design including medium and low voltage distribution systems (transformers, generators, motors), communication systems, equipment selection, and analytical calculations.
- Technically knowledgeable of available equipment and proven pre‑engineered systems to execute systems design.
- Experience in reviewing and preparing engineers design calculations and drawings повтор.

- Construction and start‑up experience a plus.
