Novastar Kids Co provides private educational service to children ages six weeks to fourteen years. The service includes child care, preschool, kindergarten, elementary through secondary education, summer camps, special events, enrichment classes, and after-school program. The foundation of our service is the continuity of care and education.

We’re looking for a caring and energetic Child Care Teacher to join our team! In this role, you’ll help support young children’s growth by creating a safe, fun, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. You'll plan hands-on activities, provide daily care, and partner with families to help children reach important milestones. Responsibilities- Plan, implement, and monitor developmentally appropriate curriculum including weekly themes and lesson plans.
- Facilitate group instructional activities that support each child's growth and development.
- Provide a safe, responsive, stimulating, and nurturing classroom environment with age-appropriate materials.
- Oversee daily classroom operations including attendance, student discipline, and health/safety protocols.
- Tend to children's personal care needs including diapering, toileting assistance, and feeding.
- Supervise children on the playground and handle emergencies professionally.
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom activities.

- Colorado Shines PDIS 3.0 Level 2 required.
- 2+ years of preschool or early childhood teaching experience.
- Experience with TS GOLD assessment system preferred.
- Patient, nurturing, and creative personality.
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years.
- Ability to implement behavior modification techniques.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Experience working with diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds a plus.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.
