Senior Project Manager

About the Role

The Sr. Construction Project Manager's primary job duties include consulting with clients and staff regarding all phases of a project including planning, pre-design, design, bidding, construction, and post construction. The Manager is responsible to provide a professional service to our client within industry standards of care and to mentor others in the company to preform our services.

• Review and analyze data pertaining to design consultants, using experience in the construction and project management industries, to develop conclusions and recommendations and present to client.
• Provide cost estimating as necessary
• Consult with client regarding quality and/or cost of subcontractors that are being considered and make recommendations.
• Provide training to Project Managers as necessary
• Initiate, coordinate, and manage staff, consultants, and other personnel associated with projects.

• Quality assurance tracking, receiving and reporting.
• Safety support and planning work with Health and Safety Personnel.
• Assist in plan & specification writing and interpretation.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Technical expertise in all project areas, including, but not limited to, planning, pre-design, design, bid and award, construction and post-construction phases
• Extensive experience working in the construction industry and, specifically, with project/construction management and/or owners representative
• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in project management, construction management, or a related field
• Relevant experience with public / private sector clients (building construction in education, commercial, multi-family and governmental).

• Mainly consists of office conditions. May include travel to jobsites in order to collaborate with on-site employees.

• May need to lift up to 20 pounds of printer paper.
