Workers' Paralegal

Bachus & Schanker, LLC has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Workers Compensation Paralegal to join the team located in the Englewood office. This is an in-office position, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. We are looking for a Paralegal who shares our commitment to provide clients and team members with superior support!

• Extensive contact with clients
• Familiarity with medical records
• Assist with cases from sign up through resolution
• Gather and analyze information relevant to the case
• Extensive review and knowledge of each case
• Maintain contact with clients on a consistent basis
• Docketing and Calendaring
• Organization and maintenance of case files
• Have strong work ethic and able to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Have great people skills as the position requires a great deal of client contact
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Exceptional communication and written skills

• 1 to 3+ years of workers compensation or general litigation experience
• Must have ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
• Continuously assist attorneys in keeping cases well-organized and current
• Frequent communication with clients to provide case information and updates
• Ability to multi-task required while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and meeting deadlines
• Time management, professional communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team-based structure
• Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word and legal software

• Experience with Workers Compensation cases
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Compensation range $50,000 to $62,5000, DOE
