Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Greenwood Village, Colorado. In this role, you will play a key part in managing the company's receivables, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Responsibilities:

- Process and manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing and payment tracking.

- Conduct commercial collections to ensure timely receipt of outstanding payments.

- Handle cash applications, ensuring accurate allocation of payments to accounts.

- Monitor and reconcile accounts to maintain accurate financial records.

- Collaborate with internal teams to address billing discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.

- Prepare reports on receivables status and provide updates to management.

- Maintain strong communication with clients to ensure smooth payment processes.

- Assist with auditing and compliance tasks related to accounts receivable.

- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in receivables management.

- Work closely with the finance team to coordinate cash flow operations.

Any AR person with construction experience is huge plus!

Requirements - A minimum of 3 years' experience in accounts receivable or a related field.

- Strong knowledge of commercial collections and billing functions.

- Proficiency in cash applications and cash collections processes.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.

- Experience in the construction industry is highly desirable.

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Familiarity with accounting software and tools is preferred.
