Senior Accountant

Phox One is an industry leading commercial curtain wall window manufacturer located in Denver CO.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support core accounting functions and contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives. This contract-to-hire role is ideal for a hands‑on accounting professional with strong general ledger expertise, solid problem‑solving skills, and experience working cross‑functionally within an organization.

• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely
• Perform balance sheet and general ledger account reconciliations
• Analyze and resolve accounting discrepancies and reconciling items
• Maintain a strong understanding of the general ledger and financial statement accounts
• Support and participate in the month‑end close process, including meeting close deadlines
• Assist with general accounting problem solving and research
• Partner with other departments to support process development, improvements, and issue resolution
• Ensure accounting activities comply with internal controls and accounting standards
• Contribute to documentation of accounting processes and procedures as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required)
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial statements
• Proven experience with balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries
• Solid knowledge of the month‑end close process
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, in‑office environment
• Understands GAAP and other accounting standards
• Communication proficiency in the English language
• Employment Type: Contract-to-hire
• Hourly Range: $40/hr-$48/hr
