Asbestos Surveyor

RSK Asbestos has an exciting new opportunity for ambitious surveyors to join our team in the South East of England. We are looking for candidates based in Berkshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Greater London or Hertfordshire. The role will involve a mix of home, site and office work.

• Survey properties for the presence of asbestos.
• Prepare plans of surveyed properties.
• Carry out air monitoring and inspection during asbestos removal works.
• Photograph areas of asbestos within surveyed properties.
• Travel across the UK to client sites as required.
• Create survey reports including plans, photos and recommendations.
• Communicate with clients on-site or in office to inform them of any issues.
• Complete monthly quality control checks on time.

• Relevant P-cert(s) and at least 6 months documented experience.
• Familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong IT skills to work effectively with survey software.
• Desirable: experience with air testing software.
• Self‑motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation.

• Salary £35,000 – £42,000, depending on experience.
