As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with professional customer service. You will communicate clearly, document observations, and respond to issues as part of a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, with a caring culture that puts people first and acts with integrity.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service at an educational location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.

+ Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, classrooms, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify irregular conditions.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity as assigned, provide directions and assistance to students, staff, and guests, and report concerns through established channels.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and calls for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying appropriate campus contacts and/or emergency services when needed.

+ Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift pass-downs, and communicate observations to oncoming personnel and site leadership.

* + Client requires proof of high school diploma or equivalent.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
