This job is with Encode, Inc a fully owned subsidiary of Lancesoft.

• Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements.
• Provides objective evidence of results.
• Performs auditing, surveillance, and monitoring; identifies and documents discrepancies.
• Segregates and controls non-conforming items. Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.
• Under limited supervision, inspects incoming parts/material, outgoing orders; verifies that certification is correct, checks parts for processing, checks special orders, daily use of micrometers, gauge controls, calipers, indicators, etc.; provides mentorship throughout the Inspection team.
• Conducts dimensional inspections per design record and documented AQL levels; conducts visual inspections for obvious defects.
• Reviews and disposes all certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per AS9100 and Company Quality standards; communicates with vendor as needed; disposes and controls on-conforming products.
• Obtains and maintains Customer Designated Supplier Quality Representative Stamps for at least three customers (or as applicable by Site size); active use of stamps required.

• 2+ years of related work experience using calipers, ring/pin gages, comparator, and Smart scope.
• Experience in QA inspection methods and procedures.
• Proficient PC skills and use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel).

• Previous aerospace inspection experience.
• Knowledge of AS9100 requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
