Position Overview:

Enfield Public Schools is seeking a passionate and creative Art Educator to join our dynamic team of educators. The ideal candidate will inspire students through a comprehensive visual arts curriculum that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver engaging art instruction aligned with state standards and district goals.
Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and respect for diverse perspectives.
Integrate a variety of media, techniques, and technologies to support student learning.
Collaborate with colleagues, families, and the community to support student growth and achievement.
Promote student participation in exhibitions, competitions, and community art events.
Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom that supports all learners.

Qualifications:

Valid Connecticut Teaching Certification in Art, PK-12 (042).
Strong knowledge of visual arts content, pedagogy, and assessment strategies.
Commitment to fostering a love for learning and the arts in all students.
Ability to support the district's mission of preparing students to be productive, lifelong learners and responsible citizens.
