Art Educator

Position Overview:

Enfield Public Schools is seeking a passionate and creative Art Educator to join our dynamic team of educators. The ideal candidate will inspire students through a comprehensive visual arts curriculum that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and deliver engaging art instruction aligned with state standards and district goals.

* Integrate a variety of media, techniques, and technologies to support student learning.

* Collaborate with colleagues, families, and the community to support student growth and achievement.

* Promote student participation in exhibitions, competitions, and community art events.

Qualifications:

* Valid Connecticut Teaching Certification in Art, PK-12 (042).

* Strong knowledge of visual arts content, pedagogy, and assessment strategies.

* Commitment to fostering a love for learning and the arts in all students.

* Ability to support the district's mission of preparing students to be productive, lifelong learners and responsible citizens.
