SpLD Tutor

Overview

We are seeking a SpLD Tutor to join Capel Manor College's Learning Support team. The post holder will be responsible for assessing and implementing support for students with Dyslexia and other Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD). The tutor will collaborate with staff to ensure that teaching and learning strategies are adapted to support learners with a range of SpLD needs. The post holder will also be responsible for carrying out examination access arrangements in accordance with Joint Council of Qualifications regulations.

• Assess and implement support for students with Dyslexia and other Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD).
• Collaborate with staff to adapt teaching and learning strategies to support learners with diverse SpLD needs.
• Carry out examination access arrangements in accordance with Joint Council of Qualifications regulations.

• Experience working in a SEND role within a Further Education or Sixth Form College, or a Secondary School.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing effective support plans for learners with diverse needs.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
