Behaviour Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

AsBehaviour Teaching Assistant in this outstanding school in Enfield, you will:

  • Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs, implementing strategies to manage behaviour and promote emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to develop and implement personalized support plans.
  • Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities, promoting their independence and confidence.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour, communicating effectively with parents and colleagues.

Behaviour Teaching Assistant Requirements:
  • Seeking someone who is proactive , resilient , can uphold high standards of school and get the best out of the pupils
  • The successful candidate will be able to put the needs of the children at the forefront of what they do , taking into consideration individual special educational needs
  • Strong understanding of SEMH, safeguarding, and child protection practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
