We are currently seeking an experienced Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant who can work full‑time in an early years and KS1 setting from September. The role is based in a well‑regarded school in the affluent area of Palmer Green, which is easily accessible by both public transport and car.

The successful candidate will have strong educational knowledge, as well as the ability to engage and interact with children on a one‑to‑one and group basis. They will be confident in delivering activities and interventions to children with special education needs, while at the same time providing general support to teachers.

The ideal candidate will have a recognised teaching assistant qualification, as well as previous experience working with children with additional needs. The successful candidate should have an understanding of the National Curriculum and be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of behaviour management strategies.

The successful candidate should also be a team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They should be able to work collaboratively with teachers, learners and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for all students.
