Youth Justice Officer

Good Afternoon,

I am currently representing Enfield Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for a Youth Justice Officer this role will be: EN1 3ES

The right candidate will:

The candidate will need to be able to write PSR reports, carry out high quality assessments using Asset plus; deliver interventions to reduce the risk of further offending and manage risk of harm to themselves and others. This post requires monitoring of practice and processes, building in close partnership work.

Undertake all duties in relation to Safeguarding young people and managing risk to the community;

* Write PSR, Referral Order and Breach reports

* Have good analytical skills in order to carry out high quality assessments using Asset plus;

* Have a comprehensive understanding of Risk and risk management

* Make referrals and deliver high level interventions using sequencing methods to reduce the risk of further offending, whilst managing risk of harm to themselves and others

We require the following:

* Must have at least two years YJS experience!

* Post holder will need minimum two years’ experience of working with children and young people in the Youth Justice system.
