Fire Stopper

Location: Lower Edmonton

An established and highly respected UK fire protection contractor is seeking experienced Fire stoppers to join its growing delivery team on a permanent basis. The business is recognised nationally for its technical expertise in passive fire protection, long-term framework delivery, and commitment to compliance-led fire safety.
Operating across education, healthcare, hospitality, commercial, and residential sectors, the company delivers projects ranging from small remedial works to multi-million-pound programmes. With a nationwide workforce and multiple regional offices, it supports long-standing contracts for government bodies, housing associations, universities, and private developers.
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to join one of the UK’s largest and most stable passive fire protection contractors. The role is based on long-term social housing frameworks covering East London, North London, and Hertfordshire, offering genuine job security and consistent local work.
You will be working primarily within occupied social housing stock for a major housing association, delivering fire stopping works as part of a highly experienced and technically strong site team.
Role Details – Firestopper

* £36,000 - £41,000 per annum

* Company vehicle and fuel card

* Annual bonus

* Private Healthcare (Family Cover)

* 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

* Two-week Christmas shutdown (not deducted from annual leave)

* Permanent, long-term employment on secure frameworks
Essential Requirements

* Strong Fire stopping Experience

* NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection or

* NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or City & Guilds in Carpentry and Joinery

* Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
