Veterinary Care Assistant

Overview

Are you passionate about animal care and looking to be part of a dedicated veterinary team? We are seeking a Veterinary Care Assistant to join our busy Enfield branch practice, where no two days are the same!

As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to our vets and nurses, ensuring the highest standard of care for our patients. Your duties will include:

• Assisting with animal handling and patient care
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in clinical areas
• Supporting the team with administrative and client care tasks
• Preparing equipment and supplies for procedures

Our Rosemary Avenue branch is a proud member of the Wood Street Group. This fully equipped practice boasts a range of advanced facilities, including a lab, X-ray, dental X-ray, and ultrasound. Our dedicated team consists of 2-3 veterinarians, a reception team, 1 Registered Veterinary Nurse, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, and 1 Veterinary Care Assistant, all committed to providing exceptional care for our clients and their pets.

• A self-motivated individual with a genuine passion for animal welfare
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts starting from 8 am with the latest finishing at 7:30 pm, 1 in 3 Saturday morning shifts.
