Technical Manager

We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager to oversee remediation projects across a large residential portfolio. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with building safety regulations and delivering high-quality remedial works that protect residents and maintain our reputation for excellence.

• Lead technical aspects of fire safety and remediation schemes from inception through to completion.
• Coordinate design, specification, and implementation of remedial works in line with current legislation and best practice.
• Manage and work with Principal Designer

• Ensure all works comply with Building Safety Act, Fire Safety Act, and other relevant regulations.
• Liaise with building control, warranty providers, and statutory bodies to secure approvals.

• Manage consultants and contractors to deliver accurate technical solutions.
• Review and approve drawings, specifications, and technical reports.

• Communicate effectively with internal teams, residents, and external stakeholders.
• Provide technical advice and support to project managers and site teams.

• Monitor site works to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
• Implement robust quality control processes and maintain accurate documentation.

• Proven experience as a Technical Manager or similar role within residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations, cladding remediation, and building compliance.
• Excellent understanding of UK building regulations and warranty requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
