Year 1 Class Teacher

We are excited to be recruiting a passionate and committed Year 1 Class Teacher to join a vibrant, friendly and happy primary school in Enfield, London, starting 23 February 2026.

This is a full-time, temporary position, working term time only (8:30am–3:30pm), ideal for a teacher who loves the magic of Key Stage 1 and is eager to make a meaningful impact at a crucial stage of children’s learning. You will take full responsibility for a Year 1 class, delivering engaging, inclusive lessons that inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Has experience or a strong interest in Key Stage 1

• Creates a warm, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment

• Values teamwork, reflection, and positive relationships with families

• Is enthusiastic, organised, and committed to pupil progress
