Job Description & How to Apply Below
We are delighted to be recruiting a Music Teacher (or Music Specialist) for a welcoming and well-organised primary school in Enfield. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a school that values the arts and where music is a key part of the school culture.
About the Role:
This role involves teaching music across Years 1 to 6, with lessons already beautifully planned – allowing you to focus on delivery and engagement. You’ll be teaching from Monday to Wednesday, and there’s an optional paid after-school club. You’ll also play a key part in leading singing assemblies and supporting the school choir.
A teaching qualification is not essential – but you must be a music specialist with proven experience working with children in a school setting.
Requirements
• Strong background in music (performance, education, or both)
• Experience working with primary-aged children
• Confident leading group singing and assemblies
• Ability to lead a choir (instrumental skills a bonus!)
• Energetic, organised, and a team player
• Comfortable delivering pre-planned lessons across Key Stage 1 & 2
Benefits
• Warm, friendly staff and a supportive SLT
• Creative, music-loving environment
• No planning required – just bring your energy and passion!
• Paid after-school club opportunity (Tuesdays)
• Flexibility and work-life balance with a 3-day schedule
If you’re ready to inspire the next generation of musicians and bring joy to a school through the power of music, we’d love to hear from you!
