Are you a caring, resilient and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant looking to make a real difference in a child’s school journey? We are delighted to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Enfield that is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their supportive team from 9 February 2026.

This is a full-time, temporary role (8:30am–3:30pm, term time only) working 1:1 with a Year 3 pupil. The pupil is academically capable but emotionally immature and can at times refuse tasks or walk away.

Your role will be key in helping them stay focused, regulate emotions, and engage positively with learning.

The Role:

• Provide consistent 1:1 support to help the pupil access the curriculum

• Encourage focus, independence and positive learning behaviours

• Support the child through lessons and transitions throughout the day

• Work closely with the class teacher and SEN team to implement strategies

The Ideal Candidate :

Has experience supporting children with SEN or additional needs

Is calm, patient and confident in managing challenging behaviour

Has a good understanding of the primary curriculum

Is committed to helping every child succeed
