General Teaching Assistant

Teach Now is delighted to be recruiting a General Teaching Assistant for a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Enfield, London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about education to make a meaningful impact across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, supporting both mainstream learners and students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, provide targeted booster sessions and interventions, and offer one-to-one or small-group support where needed. You’ll play a vital role in helping students build confidence, stay motivated, and reach their full potential—both academically and personally.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with secondary-aged students (desirable, not essential)

• Is proactive, patient, and enthusiastic about learning

• Can adapt to a range of subjects and student needs

• Works well as part of a team and takes initiative
