Geography Teacher

An excellent Secondary Schools in Ponders End, Enfield are looking for a Geography Teacher to join them on a full-time basis and teach across all year groups. The role is to start as soon as possible and it will be for the duration of the academic year.

The school is located very close to Ponders End station with access to many local shops and you will be part of a very dynamic and enthusiastic team of Teachers. The Senior Leadership Team has been known to be very supportive and you will receive adequate training and opportunities for development.

The school are looking for a Specialist Geography Teacher who meets the following criteria:

• Experience teaching the subject
• Excellent behaviour management
• Knowledge of National Curriculum
• SEN experience
• The ability to plan and deliver dynamic and engaging lessons that will cater for the needs and interests of all pupils
• Ability to plan, teach and assess effectively a range of pupils, including those working below national curriculum level
• Ability to be creative and manage, motivate and inspire children
• Ability to plan for and manage a team of support staff
• Ability to liaise with multi-professionals
• Experience in assessing child development and planning activities to support their on-going attainment and growth
• Able to commit for the duration of the placement
• Creative and dynamic in their approach to teaching and learning
• Honest and compassionate
• Happy to complete training to further develop their knowledge and understanding in education.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willing to complete one
