Stockroom Keeper​/Material Handler III - THAAD

Job Description BAE Systems is looking to hire a Space Stockroom Lead on our Space Electronics Manufacturing team in Endicott, New York. As a stockroom lead, you will be supporting the THAAD circuit card production area by: kitting jobs to be used by the assembly team, issuing replacement parts to the floor, participating in cycle counting, and receiving material. You will also be responsible for mentoring and prioritizing stockroom needs.

The material handled includes parts in tape and reel used on our automated SMT line as well as individual piece parts used during hand assembly. Furthermore, you will handle all types of material including moisture sensitive, ESD (electrostatic discharge) sensitive and hardware. In addition, using BAE’s ERP/MRP System, Oracle, is an integral part of this role to perform all the tasks specified above.

The stockroom is in a temperature and humidity controlled environment and is located within the Space Assembly area.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• HS Diploma or GED
• Experience working in a manufacturing/warehousing environment.
• Possess adequate hand/ eye coordination and visual acuity to perform required tasks.
• Handle materials in accordance with required handling procedures.
• Review and input required data into computer system.
• Strong communication skills.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Stockroom experience
• Good understanding of ESD.
• Firmiliar with MSL and the meaning.
• Experience working with Oracle
• Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $44033 - $70454
