** About the Role
** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Assisted Living to oversee the daily operations of our Assisted Living facility. This individual will provide strong leadership, fiscal responsibility, ensure high-quality resident care, and foster collaboration across departments while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.

* Key Responsibilities:

* • Lead and manage a large, diverse staff working 24/7, 365 days a year.
• Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with nursing, dietary, activities, and other departments to ensure seamless resident care.
• Serve as a primary liaison with residents’ families, ensuring clear communication and compassionate support.
• Report directly to the CEO and executive leadership team to align operational goals with organizational vision.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing assisted living facilities. (CA. Department of Social Services)
• Drive initiatives to enhance resident satisfaction, staff engagement, and overall community performance.

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year institution with emphasis in geriatrics, healthcare administration, or social work or equivalent  (Master’s degree a plus).
• Proven experience in management and leadership within healthcare or senior living environments.
• Strong skills in budgeting, financial oversight, and operational planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for building relationships across staff, residents, and families.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with 24/7 operational demands.
