Shift Leader – Einstein Bros. Bagels

Einstein Bros. Bagels has been baking fresh bagels daily since 1995. At our stores, we believe that our bakeries do more than just make the best breakfast in the neighborhood. Our stores close at 2 pm, so you will never have to work past 3 pm – there are no evenings or nights.

• Collaborate directly with the General Manager to motivate the team and deliver a great guest experience.
• Set the morale and tone of the team, providing feedback and coaching when needed.
• Open and close the store with minimal supervision.
• Ensure the quality of the food and beverages we serve.
• Maintain a safe and clean store environment.
• Act as a role model and help team members grow into future General Manager or Leadership roles.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work varied hours, including early morning (as early as 3 am), weekends, and other shifts as business dictates.
• Must pass a background check as required by local, state, and federal law.
• Must obtain a Serv Safe Certification prior to completion of leadership training.
• Possession of a current, valid, state‑issued driver’s license is preferred, but required only at specific locations.
• Tip eligibility is subject to state regulations.
• Additional benefits eligibility is subject to position guidelines at time of hire.

Hourly rate: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour. Starting pay is subject to local and state minimum wage regulations. These rates reflect what the employer reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position.

This position requires intermittent sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
