This is a full-time, salaried Leadership position located at our Scripps Memorial campus in Encinitas. This position will require the availability to work a varied shift (start time will be dependent upon the department's need including morning and evening shifts) and weekends including Sundays.

The Supervisor, Chef coordinates the operational systems for Food and Nutrition Services including menu planning, food ordering, operations, safety and overall department function. Oversees, coordinates, and supervises the operations of the Food and Nutrition Services to include Patient Meal Service/ Cafeteria/Catering, hot and cold food production, emergency meal preparation, purchasing, inventory management and control, marketing and meal presentation standards. Develops recipes and implements menus in all areas of the department ensuring that sanitation, nutrition and financial parameters are met.
