The Global IT Organization is on an exciting change journey and is looking for a SAP Programmer ABAP & Integrations

As SAP Programmer in SAP Business Team, your role is to act as System SME, with following areas of responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP programs and applications to meet business requirements.
• Implement and support SAP integration solutions using tools such as SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Platform Integration, or other middleware technologies.
• Collaborate with SAP functionals to gather and analyze requirements for SAP integrations and development projects.
• Perform debugging and troubleshooting of ABAP code and integration processes to resolve issues efficiently.
• Ensure adherence to best practices for coding, performance optimization, and SAP development guidelines.
• Ensure proper documentation of all development and validation work according to compliance guidelines.
• Assist in the migration and upgrade of SAP systems, including data preparation and validation.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and integration methodologies, and recommend enhancements to improve overall system performance.
• Act as project member, in the areas of competences, when it is required.
• Work closely to Line of Business in the daily operation, based on prioritization from IT Governance.
• Collaborate in SAP HANA strategy definition.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP programming, with a focus on SAP ABAP and integrations.
• Proven experience in developing and supporting SAP interfaces and integrations using PI/PO, API management, or similar technologies.
• Experienced with GxP and GAMP5 disciplines is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools is advantageous.
• Proficient in SAP ABAP programming language and development tools (e.g., ABAP Workbench, Eclipse IDE for ABAP).
• Solid understanding of SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, MM, SD) and their integration points.
• Experience with REST and SOAP web services, IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs in SAP.
• Support integrations (SAP Integration Suite/CPI, SAP PI/PO, Boomi) and consume/expose APIs.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori and SAP Gateway is a plus.
• Experience with standard extensibility:
  Enhancements (implicit/explicit), User Exits, and BAdIs. Knowledge of SAP S/4
  
  HANA Extensibility is a plus.
• Design and maintain forms:
  Adobe Form, Smart Forms, and SAPscript.
• Testing and diagnostics: ATC, ABAP Unit, ST22, ST05, ST12, SAT, SLG

• Nice to Have:
  • Integrations: SAP Integration Suite (CPI), SAP PI/PO (ESR/), Boomi (Atom/Molecule).
  • Knowledge of OData services and ABAP for S/4
    
    HANA (CDS, RAP, AMDP, modern Open SQL).
  • Participation in migration or rollout projects focusing on extensibility and forms.

The position is located at ALK’s site in Madrid what is in the business area of Ciudad Lineal, very close to the center of Madrid. We have quick access to the Hermanos García Noblejas and Ascao metro stations and we also have a wide bus connection. The manufacturing center is located at Calle Miguel Fleta 19 while the Business Support area is in an annex building located in the Avalon Business Park.

Nevertheless, we have a remote working policy that will allow you to work from home part of your time.
