IT Systems Operation Lead

The IT Systems Operation Lead is responsible for designing, implementing and administering the internal infrastructure and IT services that support our research and development and business practices. Candidates should have experience in architecting and maintaining mission critical, high security systems that provide core services to the technical teams. We are looking for a senior specialist that can bootstrap our IT operations, conforming to our unique needs, and supervise the future growth of the infrastructure and the IT team.

• Design, procure and implement internal systems to support R&D teams
• Deploy scalable and automated services
• Administer, maintain, monitor and supervise internal and external systems and services
• Design, implement, and maintain secure network and client access to internal lab
• Monitor security events, usage patterns and performance benchmarks
• Troubleshoot issues and outages
• Communicate with technical and business management
• Organize and produce high quality documentation

• 10+ years of experience in relevant roles (Dev Ops, sysadmin, IT operations, etc.)
• Deep understanding of network and system security concepts and practices
• Flexibility to design and implement infrastructures with non-standard requirements
• Linux server management experience and deep knowledge of relevant virtualization and containerization technologies
• Basic programming and scripting knowledge for automation
• Ability to diagnose network, software and common hardware issues

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and automation tools
• Strong leadership and project management abilities, including mentoring technical teams and coordinating cross‑functional initiatives
• Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and incident response tools
