Product Engineer

Location: Ciénega de Flores

The Product Engineer is responsible for the technical performance, evolution, and competitiveness of KRACK’s product portfolio throughout its lifecycle. This role acts as the technical owner of the product, ensuring alignment between design, performance, cost, manufacturability, and regulatory compliance with business strategy and customer needs. Will report directly to the Marketing Manager and will attend our site located in Cienega de Flores (with 1 day of home office per week, subject to business needs)

The Product Engineer serves as a cross-functional link between Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to ensure products meet technical standards, market requirements, and profitability targets. This position also leads continuous improvement initiatives, provides advanced technical support, and drives the development of new solutions or enhancements to the existing portfolio.

Main Responsibilities
Lead the development, validation, and release of new products and enhancements to existing products, ensuring technical, regulatory, and performance compliance.
Act as the technical owner of the product throughout its lifecycle (concept, design, validation, launch, sustainment, and phase-out).
Define and maintain technical specifications, engineering documentation, drawings, and product standards.
Provide advanced technical support to Sales, Service, and customers for complex applications or special requirements.
Contribute to the technical product roadmap in collaboration with Product Management by providing feasibility analysis, risk assessment, and resource requirements.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, certifications, and industry standards.
Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO), ensuring proper documentation, communication, and cross-functional implementation.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field (required).
1–3 years of experience in product engineering, mechanical design, HVACR equipment development, or industrial environments.
Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
