** WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
** We are looking for skilled back end focused software engineers with experience working with Java & Kotlin, along with Spring Boot, Kubernetes and AWS, who have experience working in a software on demand production environment. You will build Cloud-native, AWS-based, greenfield software and will have time and support to invent solutions to a wide variety of user, business, and technical challenges.

We have no cut-and-paste roles and neither will your software be of the cut-and-paste (or integrate and configure) variety. We operate a 'build it and own it' culture, and so you will have a Dev Ops and individual contributor mindset

These will be key hires for back-end building squads and help shape this area of the business for scale and be a key member of a fast-growing global team!
** EXPERIENCE
* ** Software development in Java (Spring Boot) & Kotlin - design, build, and deploy
* Production deployment experience working with AWS
* Experience with automated build and test systems for CI/CD (using Docker, Jenkins, etc)
* Experienced in true Agile and its engineering practices with a true Dev Ops mindset
** EDUCATION
* ** Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field. Or equivalent work experience.
** SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
*** Back-end Development with Java or Kotlin
* Fluent in English
* Able to deal with ambiguity and change.
* A self-starter who's able to work independently where necessary, without waiting for others. A strong sense of ownership is key to the way we work.
* Strong communication skills.
** LOCATIONS
* ** The vacancies will be fully remote based out of either Spain, Portugal or the Netherlands.
