The Relevance Core team in the Personalization domain plays a critical role in optimizing Vista Print's personalization strategies. We build and own a suite of sophisticated data products using machine learning models, comprehensive reporting analytics, and automated data engineering workflows. Our data products empower Product teams across all our PX organization to build personalized experiences for our customers, measure the impact of those personalized experiences, and jointly innovate new ways to implement and scale personalization strategies across our vast and complex product assortment.

Design, develop, and deploy high-performance, scalable APIs for serving machine learning models in production environments.

Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure automated, reliable, and frequent deployment of ML models and platform components.

Working with AWS services, deploying and maintaining serverless functions (Lambdas)

Contribute to the design and development of core ML platform services, focusing on stability, efficiency, and ease of use for ML engineers and data scientists.

Develop and manage internal Python packages for shared platform functionalities, best practices, and tooling.

Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, ensuring low latency, high availability, and proactive resolution of incidents.

Implement and optimize pipelines for Large Language Models (LLMs), including fine-tuning, serving, and monitoring.

Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to ensure the ML platform meets their needs for model development and deployment.

Engage in the design and occasional development of data pipelines using technologies like PySpark to ensure high-quality training and inference data availability.

Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in ML engineering, MLOps, and LLMs, and propose strategic adoptions to improve the platform.

Proven experience (typically 4+ years) in a software development role, with a strong focus on building and deploying high-performance, scalable APIs for production systems.

Demonstrable expertise in designing, building, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines for automated and reliable software and machine learning model deployment.

Experience working with any Cloud services (preferably AWS).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret performance data and troubleshoot production systems (low latency, high availability).

Fluency in English is essential.

Experience with MLOps principles and tools for managing and monitoring machine learning model life cycles, including implementing and optimizing pipelines for Large Language Models (LLMs).

Proficiency in Python, including developing and managing internal packages for shared platform functionalities and best practices.

Solid experience with core ML platform services, focusing on architectural stability, efficiency, and developer usability.

Familiarity with data engineering concepts and technologies like PySpark for working with high-quality training and inference data availability.
