All About Target and All About Food & Beverage:
The Food & Beverage team enables a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is fresh, in stock, available and accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. They are experts of operations, process and efficiency. The team leads food and food services including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all Food & Beverage areas of the store.

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, providing a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest’s needs over task.
• Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards.
• Execute Food & Beverage processes including food deliveries, replenishment, straightening merchandise, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and organizing and storing reserve product.
• Follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target’s policies and procedures.
• Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales.
• Work with vendors to set, maintain and make planned changes to salesfloor merchandise displays and backroom organization.
• Identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to Target’s policies and procedures.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Respect and follow federal, state and local laws as they apply to the business (including adult beverage laws where applicable).
• Care for in-store and personal protective equipment; follow equipment control guidelines.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup and Drive-up while maintaining compliance with laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their daily tasks and needs.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and help guests with their specific needs.
• Perform other duties based on business needs.

• You enjoy interacting and helping others, including guests and fellow team members.
• You thrive in a fast-moving, physically demanding role where teamwork, flexibility, and problem solving are key.
• You are open to flexible work schedules with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and peak times).

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older (Bakery Only).
• Previous food or grocery experience preferred but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed.
• Ability to work independently and with a team; resolve guest questions quickly.
• Attention to detail; ability to follow multi-step processes; stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.

• Ability to climb ladders and handle cash operations as needed.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 44 pounds; operate in a temperature range from 34°F to
  -10°F as needed; may involve allergens.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; reliable attendance required.
• Work in environments with varying temperatures, humidity and elements while performing duties such as Drive-Up and carryout.
• Remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
