Job Description & How to Apply Below

We’re hiring a Production Control Manager to bring structure and predictability to a fast-growing manufacturing operation. This role owns production planning, scheduling, and execution control—making sure the right work gets built at the right time with the materials and capacity available.

You’ll work hands-on with the factory, Supply Chain, and Engineering to turn demand into executable plans, manage daily priorities, and quickly solve problems when things change. This is not a spreadsheet-only role—you’ll be on the floor, adjusting plans in real time and keeping the team focused on what matters most.

As we scale, you’ll help build the planning processes, metrics, and systems that allow us to grow without losing control. Success means fewer surprises, better on-time delivery, and a factory that runs with clarity and urgency.

Depending on situation this role requires you to be able to work on weekends and 2 nd and 3 rd shift.

Responsibilities
  • Own the master production schedule and daily execution plan across manufacturing operations
  • Translate demand forecasts into realistic, executable production schedules aligned with available materials, labor, and capacity.
  • Set daily and weekly production priorities and adjust plans in real time as conditions change.
  • Work with the Ops. Manager. to inform critical decision points to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Work directly on the factory floor to resolve schedule conflicts, shortages, and execution issues.
  • Drive (root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions (RCCAs) alongside the quality team to eliminate production blockers and recurring issues.
  • Partner closely with Supply Chain to ensure material availability supports production commitments.
  • Balance capacity, labor, and constraints to meet delivery targets without sacrificing quality or safety.
  • Monitor schedule adherence, throughput, and on-time delivery; take corrective action when performance slips.
  • Use ERP/MRP systems and production tracking tools to manage schedules, WIP, and status visibility.
  • Identify bottlenecks and constraints and drive practical solutions to improve flow.
  • Communicate clear priorities and expectations to manufacturing teams and supervisors.
  • Lead daily production meetings and escalation discussions as needed.
  • Build and improve production planning and control processes as the organization scales.
  • Develop simple, effective metrics and dashboards to track execution performance.
  • Anticipate risks and disruptions and implement mitigation plans proactively.
  • Support off-shift, weekend, and 2nd/3rd shift operations as required to maintain schedule and delivery commitments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in operations, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in production planning, production control, or manufacturing operations.
  • Direct ownership of production schedules in a manufacturing environment (discrete or electromechanical preferred).
  • Hands-on experience translating demand forecasts into executable production plans.
  • Proven ability to manage daily production priorities and adjust schedules in real time.
  • Experience working closely with Supply Chain to align materials availability with production plans.
  • Experience operating on the factory floor, resolving issues as they arise—not just planning from a desk.
  • Working experience with ERP/MRP systems and production tracking tools.
  • Track record of improving on-time delivery, schedule adherence, or throughput.
  • Experience building or improving planning processes in a growing or changing operation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make fast, practical decisions under pressure.
  • Comfortable working off-shift, weekends, or supporting 2nd and 3rd shift operations as needed.
