Senior Paralegal – Class Action Litigation
Location: Los Angeles, CA or Emeryville, CA
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in-office / 2 days remote)
Practice Area: Class Action, Collective, Employment & Wage and Hour Litigation
We are seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal to join our Class Action Litigation Practice Group
. This role supports complex, high-volume litigation matters and requires deep experience in class and collective actions
, particularly employment and wage & hour claims
. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment.
This position is based in our Los Angeles or Emeryville office and follows a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
Key Responsibilities- Support attorneys on class action, collective action, and wage & hour litigation matters
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw and Lexis Nexis
- Prepare and finalize legal documents, including:
- Notices and letters
- Discovery shells and discovery responses (based on client-provided information)
- Assistance with drafting briefs (depending on experience level)
- Cite check briefs and ensure accuracy and compliance
- Prepare and run Tables of Authorities (TOAs) and Tables of Contents (TOCs)
- Requires advanced Microsoft Word formatting skills (styles, spacing, footers, pagination)
- Perform e-filing at the state, federal, and appellate levels across multiple jurisdictions nationwide
- Assist with trial preparation and trial support
, including exhibits and filings - Manage deadlines and maintain organized case files in a high-volume environment
Minimum 3 years of direct experience supporting class action and collective action litigation (Must be specific to class/collective work — not overall paralegal experience)
Strong experience with employment and wage & hour claims
Expert-level ability to:
Run Tables of Authorities (TOAs)
Research and cite check using Westlaw and Lexis Nexis
Proven experience with state, federal, and appellate e-filings
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word
, including formatting complex briefs
Ability to work independently while collaborating with attorneys and litigation teams
Proactive, communicative, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
Preferred QualificationsTrial experience or substantial trial support experience
Experience with
consumer, antitrust, and/or ERISA class actions
Experience filing in multiple jurisdictions nationwide
