RoleSummary
As a Senior Business Development Networker, you will be a core member of co Design’s Business Development and Client Relations teams, focused on expanding our national presence through strategic relationship-building, industry networking, and partnership development.
This role is not traditional outbound business development. Instead, it is centered on high-impact, in-person engagement—building long-term relationships with commercial real estate brokers, tenant representatives, landlords, and workplace industry leaders across key U.S. markets.
You will serve as a brand ambassador for co Design, representing the firm at national industry events, hosting gatherings, cultivating referral networks, and strengthening co Design’s visibility through both face-to-face networking and a strong social media presence.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities- Build and maintain relationships with key commercial real estate brokers, tenant reps, landlords, and strategic partners across major U.S. markets
- Serve as a visible and trusted presence within the national workplace and real estate community
- Attend, host, and represent co Design at industry networking events, conferences, panels, partner gatherings, and community functions
- Develop a strong referral pipeline through warm relationship-building and partner engagement
- Identify strategic partnership opportunities that generate high-quality project leads nationally
- Collaborate with Global Partners and regional teams to uncover multi-market and international workplace opportunities
- Coordinate meetings and introductions between prospective partners/clients and the Client Relations team
- Deliver qualified, relationship-based leads that convert into active sales opportunities
- Maintain a strong professional brand and social media presence to amplify co Design’s market visibility
- Create and share relevant industry content (Linked In posts, event recaps, partnership highlights, thought leadership) in coordination with marketing
- Confidently represent co Design through public speaking engagements, client presentations, and industry forums
- Track engagement, meetings, and partnership activity in Hub Spot
- Exceptional relationship-building and networking ability with a talent for developing trust quickly
- Deep understanding of the commercial real estate and workplace industry ecosystem
- Proven success generating business through partnerships, industry presence, and referrals
- Strong public speaking, presentation, and in-person communication skills
- Socially confident, outgoing, and polished in professional environments
- Strong content instincts and ability to build brand credibility through digital channels
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple national relationships simultaneously
- 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, commercial real estate, client relations, or a high-touch relationship-driven role
- Extensive knowledge of brokerage, tenant representation, and the workplace delivery ecosystem
- Demonstrated success building professional networks that lead to business growth
- Comfortable serving as a national brand ambassador and industry connector
- Strong social media presence and experience creating relevant professional or industry content
- Confident public speaker with experience representing firms at events or on panels
- Self-directed, high initiative, and entrepreneurial mindset
- CRM proficiency (Hub Spot experience a plus)
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
This role will require flexibility to attend evening events, conferences, and partner engagements. co Design clients and partners are located nationwide, and travel will be expected as part of building and maintaining relationships across key markets.
