Position: Med-Surg Nurse (RN) in Elyria, OH

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe, effective nursing care using a relationship-based approach to meet patient and family needs.
  • Implement the nursing process to promote health maintenance, recovery, and wellness.
  • Demonstrate technical competence in clinical care to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize clinical and operational efficiency.
  • Float across multiple inpatient units including medical/surgical, subacute, and emergency departments to deliver flexible nursing support.
  • Maintain certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale.
  • Adhere to nurse/patient ratios typically between 1:4 to 1:6 for quality care delivery.
