Stepdown RN - Elyria, Ohio

This opportunity seeks a Registered Nurse with expertise in Stepdown, Pre-Op, or PACU nursing to care for post-procedural and Med/Tele patients. The position offers a focused clinical environment providing advanced nursing care and professional growth on a contract basis.

Schedule:

• Two shifts available:
  
  • Days: 12-hour shifts (7am - 7pm)
  
  • Nights: 12-hour shifts (7pm - 7am)
• Holiday and weekend rotations required
• No guaranteed hours
• Overtime compensated at the standard all-inclusive rate
• No call responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to post-procedure and Med/Tele patients
• Monitor patient status and respond to medical emergencies as needed
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Ensure compliance with established protocols and safety standards

Mandatory

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse license in Ohio
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or other professional nursing certifications recognized by the Magnet Association
