Position:
Nursing Assistant II (NA II)
This is an entry-level role designed for current nursing students seeking practical experience. Under the supervision of an experienced nurse, you will provide safe, efficient, and age-appropriate care to patients and families, helping them achieve or maintain optimal health. This role builds on classroom learning and clinical rotations.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct patient care, including ADLs/hygiene, vital signs, I&O, bladder scanning, EKG, glucometer testing, and restraints
- Communicating and documenting interventions and observations
- Participating in quality improvement processes
- Engaging in learning and self-improvement
- Building positive relationships with patients, families, and coworkers
