At Cornerstone Pregnancy Services, we are dedicated to providing compassionate care and support to women facing unexpected pregnancies. As a nonprofit organization with two medical clinics in Northeast Ohio, we offer free medical services and confidential peer support to empower women with the information they need to make life-affirming choices. Our mission is to create a safe and welcoming environment where every woman feels valued and supported, helping them navigate their options with dignity and hope.

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and organized Event Planner to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing a variety of events, including fundraising activities, community outreach initiatives, donor appreciation gatherings, and special organizational functions. Your work will play a crucial role in reflecting our mission, engaging our supporters, and creating memorable experiences for all participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising events that align with our mission and goals.
  • Collaborate with team members and volunteers to organize community outreach activities that raise awareness of our services.
  • Manage donor appreciation events to foster relationships and express gratitude to our supporters.
  • Develop event budgets, timelines, and marketing strategies to ensure successful event execution.
  • Source and manage vendors, venues, and supplies necessary for each event.
  • Create engaging event content, including promotional materials, social media posts, and press releases.
  • Monitor and evaluate event success through feedback collection and data analysis.
  • Maintain a positive and collaborative relationship with community partners and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and relevant regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in event planning, hospitality management, marketing, or a related field. Wil consider experience in lieu of degree.
  • Proven experience in event planning and execution, preferably in a nonprofit or community-focused organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working with diverse groups of people.
  • Proficiency in using event management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in fundraising and donor relations. Will consider strong customer service background.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
