Accounting Manager, Financial Reporting
Job Description
The Grants Accounting Specialist reports to the Grants Accounting Manager and assists in managing the College’s grants and restricted funds. Responsibilities include providing supervised financial accounting and reporting, helping the campus community understand and comply with grant requirements, monitoring financial activity, initiating transactions such as billings and journal entries, comparing activity against budget, preparing external financial reports, and supporting audits and program reviews.
Qualifications- Associate’s degree in Accounting and at least three years of accounting experience.
- Proficiencies in Microsoft Excel (test required) and experience working with ERP systems.
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, experience in an educational or non‑profit environment (fund accounting), and experience with federal grants accounting.
Starting from $53,400 annually, commensurate with experience, education, and established pay practices.
