Ely City Golf Course is a Par 72, 6537 yards Henry Cotton‑designed parkland course located on the outskirts of Ely City. Opened in 1962 and extended to 18 holes in 1973, the course consistently ranks in the top five parks in Cambridgeshire.

The club has just invested in a new Rain Bird irrigation system covering greens, tees and approaches, and is also upgrading machinery as part of an ongoing plan. We are increasing the reputation of Ely City Golf Club by improving presentation, refurbishing tees and bunkers and installing drainage.

We are looking to appoint a candidate for a rewarding role as Deputy Course Manager. The successful candidate will need to be focused and driven, reporting to the Course Manager.

• Practical greenkeeping skills / NVQ level 2
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Greenkeeper
• Punctuality
• Driving Licence
• Positive attitude

• Play golf to a reasonable standard
• PA1, PA2 and PA6 spraying certificates

• Salary negotiable
