We have an exciting opportunity for a Mid Weight POS (Point of Sale) Structural Designer to join the team at our Ely site. This role is perfect for a motivated individual looking to start developing your skillset around cardboard design and progress your career forward in an established, global business, with a structured development path laid out.

As Mid Weight POS Structural Designer
, you’ll provide support to the Account Management, Commercial and Production teams to drive sales and growth by delivering an outstanding level of service that focuses on competitiveness, communication, accuracy, reliability and dependability. You’ll also provide a consistently high standard of quality in your work to support the growth and development of the function and wider business.

You will be fully involved with all stages of the design process, using Artios

CAD to design bespoke POS products for customers and also provide them with accurate specification drawings, samples, prototypes, and assembly guides. This will involve frequent interaction with Creative and Artwork teams so that our customers receive a first‑class product, and we can continue to build excellent relationships. You’ll also work closely with the Structural Team Leaders so that you’re supported properly and can do your best work with us.

• Experience in POS (Point of Sale) Design
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate and work well with Account Managers and other teams in the business
• Knowledge of the POS industry, or an interest in developing your knowledge
• Experience using Artios
  
  CAD or similar software packages
• Knowledge of Illustrator (desirable)
