Production Operator

• Responsible for daily activities of the production line(s), ensuring product adheres to Niagara’s standard of safety, quality, and throughput.
• Accurately complete applicable quality and production reports hourly.
• Physically and visually inspect product to prevent non-conforming goods.
• Correctly report all quality defects to appropriate team members and shift leadership.
• Adhere to the highest standards of company and plant safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations.
• Abide by Niagara’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Standards at all times.
• Maintain general housekeeping in all areas of production and additional areas assigned by plant leadership.
• Maintain appropriate level of raw materials to ensure production lines incur minimal downtime.
• Demonstrate aptitude and skill to troubleshoot minor production line issues and perform relief duties when required.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work 12‑hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule or schedule as dictated by production demand.

• Minimum 0 years experience in manufacturing environment; 0 years in the position; and 0 years managing people/projects.
• Preferred: 2 years manufacturing experience; 2 years in the position; 2 years managing people/projects.
• Experience may include a combination of work experience and education.

• Minimum:
  High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred:
  Associate’s Degree.
