Position: Registered Nurse - Corrections
Location: Eloy, AZ
Contract: 13 weeks (with high possibility of extension)
Shift: Nights 3x12
Hrs: 36

Required Skills & Experience:

• One (1) year of professional nursing experience.
• ​BLS (AHA)
• Active RN license single/compact.
  
  Job Description:
• Monitor inmate/resident hospitalizations for early release eligibility.
• Observe and document behaviour. Inspect and secure the medical unit, disposing of contraband risks.
• Escort or coordinate inmate/resident transport for medical care.
• Conduct searches for contraband on persons and objects.
• Perform security checks in confined areas and during shifts. De-escalate or prevent disruptive situations.
• Supervise and guide nursing and non-licensed medical staff.
• Collaborate with facility staff and external providers. Follow policies and exercise sound judgment in all tasks.
